Hello Kitty Instant Cup Noodles

Can you resist food in cute packaging? I know I can’t, especially when it comes in the form of Hello Kitty. I bought these instant cup noodles (Doll brand) at Play Asia and they only cost US$1 each. They are named “Dim Sum Noodle” (点心面) on the packaging presumbly because the serving is really small (though they look regular sized in the photos, they are not, due to perspective). Inside each bowl, there are Hello Kitty fish cakes and stickers. I bought two flavours – Japanese Soy Sauce (pictured above; left) and Japanese Curry (pictured above; right). Personally I prefer the Japanese soy sauce to the curry. They don’t taste exceptional, but the cuteness factor is all I need. I like the packaging so much, I actually bought them again, cooked the noodles in a bowl so that I can keep the original bowl for holding little stuff like paper clips.

Nancy, I didn’t see them when I’m in HK. I have to look harder next time, they may have more flavours there :D

I got them from Wellcome supermarket when I was there last Dec. Only 2 flavours were available too. If I didn’t recall wrongly, the price was below SGD$1.
